Morocco has been famous for its manufacture of Arabic carpets and Berber carpets for hundreds of years. Traditional handmade Berber carpets are considered one of the most famous products of the craft industry sector, and their value is estimated at billions of dollars. This type of carpet is an artistic painting on which folk tales and stories from the history of Morocco are woven. Moroccan carpets are classified into two types: urban carpets and rural carpets. Urban carpets are mainly made by Arab city dwellers. They are densely woven and usually include flower shapes. Their manufacture is concentrated in Rabat. Moroccan carpets are generally distinguished by their bright red color, and their materials are dominated by pure wool .
